What did they do with all their ‘sanctuary’ money?

But the border cities were just fine, forget the fact that most of them are a quarter of the size and budget of those cities.

Oh, is that all?

Illegals in US could cost taxpayers $451 billion per year: House GOP report
Mayorkas has ranked among the Republicans' top targets in the Biden administration due in large part to his presiding over an unprecedented surge in illegal border crossings.

Originally obtained by the New York Post, the 49-page report entitled "The Historic Dollar Costs of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' Open-Border Policies" became public the same day that the House voted to refer a resolution to impeach the eponymous security official to the Homeland Security Committee.

I would like to know what exemption was issued to the Posse Comitatus Act that allows for the deployment of US armed forces, on US soil.

They could be National Guard.  Who, as state militia, I think might be exempt from Posse Comitatus.

The what now?

Not saying the tweet is wrong.  Am saying that "Brooklyn child abuse department" is inaccurate to the point of "no such thing."  Makes it impossible to find any more information.

So what's actually being defunded?  An NYPD office?  An office of the Brooklyn DA?

United States' busiest border crossing is CLOSED to legal traffic after coyotes overwhelmed Arizona hot spot

with illegal migrants-- forcing overwhelmed agents to scramble

 by MaryAnn Martinez

The border crisis has a new victim-- US citizens who live near the border and legally cross from the US to Mexico on a regular basis.

With a surge of migrants illegally flooding into the US west of Lukeville, Arizona, US border officials have shut down the port of entry in town to legitimate traffic. The Tucson area, which Lukeville is part of, has seen 17,500 encounters in a single week-- the highest weekly total ever recorded. As thousands of migrants from around the world illegally slip into the nation by simply squeezing through openings in the border wall, federal agents at the port of entry have been sent to help
