Why would they bring this to a vote with 3 nos and Scalise unavailable? Timing issue? Or failure theater? 

And this should absolutely be hammered at campaign time that the democrats want this country over-run with illegals and taking away benefits and resources from American citizens.

It's technically not killed. 1 Repub changed to a no vote so it can be regurgitated.

It wasn't going anywhere in the Senate.

Sounds like they thought they had the votes because Dem Green like Scalise was in the hospital. Sounds like he showed up in hospital gown to vote which caused the tie. 

But Scalise will be back and is a solid impeach vote, and sounds like the Republican is expected to win a vacant seat in NY-3 next week

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) announces cuts in services at the DMV and Park & Recs to free up more resources for illegals. He warns there will be more cuts coming.

 

He blames Republicans for his decision to cut services to Denver residents.

 

Democrats made Denver a sanctuary city in 2017. Democrats control Colorado and passed progressive immigration policies in 2021.
