Ann
Elon Musk is highlighting this (what @Nanker posted above). As a naturalized citizen who went through it legally, I do not blame him.

Rewrite immigration law so more people can legally enter the country with the proper status and protections. A legislator saying we have to ignore the law because the law is wrong. 1

Meanwhile, the gal we know that is now 30yo still cant obtain citizenship. She was canadian born. Mom and dad became enstranged so mom and her moved to the US. When she was 4yo her new dad abused her so mom killed him and she was taken by SS. Then she was brought to a foster family who legally adopted her. The attorney that had her adoption case didnt file all of the paperwork properly and eventually left the country after being caught in embezzlement. Went to the same public school for 13 years and graduated with honors. Just before graduation their house flooded and they lost all of her documents and paperwork. When she applied to college she couldnt without proper documentation. When she tried to get the proper documents she found out they were not filed. Family court has on record that she was adopted by an American family, he is a town Justice of the peace btw, but the good ole USA has no record. She tried to reconnect with her citizenship in Canada and guess what??? They cant find a record of her. Really is a sad case and really bad luck! Yet, we have millions pouring in and handed cash and phones. 2

They are also attempting to do that with the "Bi-partisan" border bill from the Senate that can't pass a full vote. And Why HR 2 has been dead in the water for over a year

Ann
Biden admin offers ‘mass amnesty’ to migrants as it quietly terminates 350,000 asylum cases: sources </snip> Data shows that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don’t have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country. This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum — their cases are “terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim” — they are removed from the legal system and no longer required to check in with authorities. The move allows them to legally, indefinitely roam about the US without fear of deportation, effectively letting them slip through the cracks. </snip> 1

Making them easier to exploit. Also...the government tracks us more closely than they do these immigrants. 1
