The Main Stream Media

In the span of a month, we have gone from "Joe Biden is sharp as a tack" to "Kamala Harris was never the Border Czar."

2024 makes 1984 look like an instruction manual. The mainstream media, big tech, the Democrat Party, and the Hollywood Elite are working overtime to rewrite history moment by moment.

The word goes out and history is rewritten.

Norah O’Donnell to exit as anchor of ‘CBS Evening News’ after 2024 election as ratings plummet

</snip>

The show’s ratings have also been in the tank during her five years in the anchor seat — plunging roughly 25% and cementing the newscast firmly behind rivals at ABC and NBC.

</snip>

She scored some big interviews over the years, but the “Evening News” averaged just 4.4 million total viewers in the most recent quarter and less than 600,000 in the 25- to 54-year-old demographic.

“CBS is so irrelevant if you’re a journalist. Nobody is watching. Sometimes you feel like you’re in the witness protection program,” the network insider said.

ABC’s “World News Tonight,” the top-rated show, and NBC’s “Nightly News” also have seen their audience shrivel substantially in recent years, often by double-digit percentages quarter to quarter.

"I'd watch CBS Evening News, but Norah O'Donnell is just intolerable" said no one ever.

Surprisingly, they actually covered the Trump assassination attempt in real time pretty well.  (Maybe that's why they're punting O'Donnell.  If the weekend anchor is also on the way out, that'd be the case.  But she's probably sticking around.  So, it probably ain't that.)

I have not watched CBS since they dumped Jeff Glor. I feel like I have not missed anything.

Yes, and all the major news agencies covered the event before the assassination for the first time. Not odd at all.

It was his last rally before the GOP convention so that may have a hand in their coverage.  It was also Saturday at 6pm which is a slow news day too.

CNN had a section specifically dedicated to Opinion?  How could one tell it apart from the rest of the operation?
