I think Jackson is an absolute specimen, and does have the ability to lead his team to the promised land.

He’s far better than Murray.

I do, however, think his window is short. His passing is predicated on his athleticism, and once he gets a bit older, and his speed isn’t elite, he’ll become a journeyman.

That's a great point regarding Lamar.  The Ravens window is pretty narrow and will last for only a few more seasons.  That's the problem with those type QBs, which Harbaugh most likely understands.  Will be interesting to see what Lamar's new contract will look like.

If Lamar ends up a journeyman (likely), then Murray will be out of the league.

In all fairness, they're playing a Cardinals team that is half the team they should really be. Injuries galore...plus Kyler McPoutface is not someone  who can carry his team to a Dairy Queen let alone a victory.

Is that a dig at Murray's height? Because he looks like a little kid out there playing with the dads.

Murray’s success is predicated on whether or not he embraces and fosters greatness.

Michael Jordan wasn’t Michael Jordan based on talent.

He was Michael Jordan because he was a culmination of elite talent and elite work ethic.

There’s no shortage of examples of elite talent who failed because they didn’t have drive, or love their sport.

It really wasn't the dollar amount, they didn't get what they wanted most. The Watson fully guaranteed contract.

I actually feel for Hill.  He had to know going to Miami was going to be a significant step backward, and yet he's tried so hard this off-season to talk up his situation and QB.  He just so badly wanted to believe everything would be okay.

Same. If he signed there as a free agent not at all. But he was forced to play there. He has been extremely professional.

Too early to say it’s a Herbert, Allen, Mahomes race for MVP?…

Week 1 last season, Packers were destroyed by New Orleans.  Rodgers went on to win MVP.

So...yeah, too early.

Haslam is pretty dumb.  I haven't heard any other owner agreeing with what the Browns did.  I doubt Lamar sees something like that.

Packers have no answer for Justin Jefferson.

How &#%$ing good was that trade for everyone?  Bills got Diggs, Vikings got the pick that gave them Jefferson.  Everyone made out in that trade.

Perhaps the rarest trade in sports: "the everybody is happy with what they got" trade.

The Packers defense is already exhausted because their offense is so bad.
