I don’t know much about Trump’s policies but clearly a man who is willing to speak in front of those who hold opposing views and insist on being rude is worthy of admiration.  I think we can all agree that men of great honor like him are rarely seen in today’s world.

It took courage to do so. Biden declined.

David Harbach threw a mini temper tantrum over claims that Jay Bratt, Harbach's co-counsel on Smith's team, threatened a defense attorney during an August 2022 meeting.

Stanley Woodward, who represents Walt Nauta, Trump's valet also charged in the case, has alleged that Bratt wanted Nauta to flip on Trump and become a government witness.

During the August 2022 meeting, Bratt--according to a court filing by Woodward--brought up Woodward's pending judicial application before DC Superior Court. Bratt said something like, "you don't want to do anything to mess that up." Meaning--get your client to cooperate.

The meeting is a subject of a congressional inquiry, a DOJ Office of Professional Responsibility probe, and Nauta's motion to dismiss for vindictive prosecution.

Cannon is considering the motion and Nauta's request for any discovery related to the meeting including correspondence.

This is how one exchange went down Wednesday morning as Cannon pressed for details about Harbach's knowledge of records about the meeting--Harbach had just described Woodward's account of the August 2022 meeting a "fantasy."

Bratt also allegedly warned that Nauta was going to lose his lifestyle of "private planes and private golf clubs" either way and it would behoove Nauta to cooperate for lesser punishment.

(This meeting took place about 2 weeks after FBI raid)

When Harbach suggested Cannon shouldn't worry her pretty little head about it, she shot back:

Did he say Assage?

He did say Ross:

Ulbricht is no different than Bezos, Cuckerburg, or any website founder which engages in chat/sales. You can sell and communicate illegal things on any site. To this day you can still purchase actual slaves on Amazon if you know how to find them. Not as easy as it was 10 years ago or especially 20 yrs ago on ebay.

It's amazing how in plain site this shit was. To give folks a hint youd see a "1997 Ford Carolina teal convertible with black interior." And those words to the right person identified exactly what was for sale. The year model would be age, the rest describes gender and other types of features. For drugs and special cases there would be other codes similar to machine parts. For weapons it would be much more complex but involving binary coding with things either like coins or machinery.

We learned Trump is as clean as a whistle (hence why they are planting evidence and making up one year laws).
We learned there are a lot of people with TDS out there, and they cannot explain why. He was loved before he ran against Hillary Clinton and won election, and then afterward a lot of regular citizens decided he was Hitler.

Party over country for many.

It must be nice to be so got-damn clueless that you can single handedly destroy the atmosphere of wherever you are.

Anti-Trumpers are, far and away, the most whiny ass bitches. So unhinged that they find themselves defending a man who literally can't climb a flight of stairs without two spotters.

Fortunately, one of the reasons you see Trump pulling ahead of Biden is because while the country feels divided, the one thing a majority of the country can agree on is that we're all just tired of the whiny ass unhinged anti-Trump bitches who can't talk about anything without tying it back to Trump.

Have a friend who is a life-long democrat.  Was a staffer for one D politician a couple of lifetimes ago and still bleeds Dem blue.

Nothing terribly unusual about that, especially for this area, but what is always somewhat amusing is her near constant griping about the government.  She lives in a country where the D's control the WH and the Senate.  She lives in a state where the D's control all branches of the government.  She lives in a county where a D is the County Exec.  And she lives in a town that has probably been under D control since the 60's.  She sees absolutely no disconnect with her disillusionment with how things are run and her absolute certainty to vote for the same people that run things.

The only thing she seems to hate more than the way things are currently run is Trump.

'Cause that's what the country needs.  A senile federal commentary on a municipal trial of a carnival barker.  That'll bring the country together.

If you didn't think the trial was a witch hunt and a show trial before...well, here we are.
