I've always said that process is more important that people: rulers come and go, but the law is foundational to a lasting country.  I'll vote for any candidate that returns the country to the rule of law rather than the whims of people.

I doubt that's Trump.  I KNOW that's not Biden.

I doubt your doubt. But I want him to take retribution. It seems necessary.

Thats just me. There should be blood. And quite a lot of it.

My take.

Well looks like I’m voting Trump, I feel for those jury members because if Trump does get elected then it’s not Donald Trump you have to worry about it’s the Democrats that will have them punished.

Just because we've talked about it here and it's sure to come up in conversations ALL of us will have over the next few days, this is the crime Trump is now convicted of committing. I've already had a more liberal friend demand I read the law which I of course posted for him. Obviously the issue it, what was the other crime, and why was he never charged or convicted for it?

Then if you hit the previous button you see on the screen it shows you the misdemeanor crime for the same thing which as you know the statute of limitations has run out on

I am pleasantly surprised to see some of my left of center friends feel that this was a complete sham.

For those others who are the “I’m &#%$ing retarded” left of left of center; they couldn’t &#%$ off enough to satisfy how much I hate them. I hope life grabs them by the pussy and covfefe’s them for eternity.

I am past the fear stage of this country being lost. I’m at the point of just accepting that we never get it back. American puss lost the US just like the Euro puss lost theirs. Everything eventually falls. Ours has been slowed by the constitution and bill or rights which are now publicly null and voided by a mentally unstable group of societal disease who run solely on emotion instead of fact.

Newsflash to the left leaning virgins: If Trump could have had any woman he wanted; do you honestly think he’d settle for a worn out porn star like Stormy? Hot dog down a hallway doesn’t begin to do that nether situation justice.

He can’t reveal it because he hasn’t yet received his instructions because the Biden campaign/intelligence community hasn’t decided on the strategy because they need to do more post conviction polling.

Broadcasters association revokes award for Robert De Niro over his anti-Trump tirade during NYC presser

A broadcasters trade association is pulling a philanthropy award it had planned to give to Robert De Niro after the actor bashed former President Donald Trump on behalf of the Biden campaign earlier this week.

The National Association of Broadcasters has revoked its award and invitation to the Celebration of Service to America awards event to De Niro because the group thought his recent work and comments on behalf of the president’s re-election campaign would “create a distraction.”

I'm so disgusted, I'm seriously considering quitting my job today.

I likely won't - still need the income, not ready to walk away yet.  But the fact that I'd so strongly consider it shows my level of disgust with the country right now.

It is such a mess of how things are that no one can do anything. If I was pushing 70 I'd max out my credit, move overseas, default here in this country and kiss it's ass goodbye.

Not that I don't love what this country stands for I just can't stand for what it is and has been for 20 years of spiraling.

The fact that I feel compelled to defend Trump makes me so frustrated. I'd never defend McCain, Walker, etc. but I'd defend DeSantis, Paul, and others. Then the Libertarian candidate is so damn left he isn't a libertarian.

A civil war isn't even an option. No one can spare that investment because one step out of line and your life and families life is RICO'd by dumbass Willis

Don't do it unless you have replacement employment in place.

I am not sure how transferable what you do is, but maybe searching for a new position out of the DC area?   State government? State contractors? Or, start planning your retirement to that other area/country. It will give you something to work towards.

For those wondering, the new sign of batshit leftists is not just dyed hair, with pronouns and Ukraine flags in their bios.

Apparently, starting yesterday, the new sign is "It's over. He's convicted. There's nothing you can do about it, so stop complaining about it."

I'm a little less than a year from being able to day trade full time.  I could start now, but it would be much riskier.

Took last Friday and this Tuesday off, just to see how I did focused on trading.  Did okay.  Just need more risk capital.

"Many global heads of state of democratic countries (France, Japan, Israel, etc.) have gone to prison.... The incongruity of the Manhattan case as the venue for Trump’s legal humiliation is that it did not represent his worst crimes, or close to it. The case was always marginal, the kind of charge you would never bring against a regular first-time offender. It was the sort of charge you’d concoct if the target is a bad guy and you want to nail him for something. This, too, is not without precedent. Al Capone’s conviction for tax evasion is the paradigmatic example.... The legal ramifications of this weakness will play out in some indeterminate, possibly terrible fashion.... Life isn’t fair, nor is the legal system...."

Writes Jonathan Chait, in "Trump’s Conviction Means Less Than You Might Think/A lot depends on what happens next" (NY Magazine).

Possibly terrible.... It's obviously terrible. It's only a question of which form of terribleness lies ahead.

So Chait is openly saying the the legal system isn't fair and Trump was convicted for being "a bad guy."

You want us non-haters to just accept that, as if it's a form of world-weary sophistication?

No, you will have to bear the weight of the consequences of persecuting a political opponent.

You should not get off easy.

Follow the political trades and mimic their trades!  Nancy Pelosi seems to do all right for herself, Dan Crenshaw, too.

You probably already know, but FlowSeidon and dubinvest track them.  unusual_whales does, but branches out.
