I do, actually.  I'd be retired by now if I'd held on to NVidia.  Had to sell it earlier than I wanted it when my wife was unemployed.

 

I day trade options, though - different from what the Congresscritters do.  I actually lost money yesterday because the damn S&P 500 index disappeared for an hour.  Not much money...but I'd never seen that before.  It was bizarre.

 

I do follow unusual whales on Twitter.  Other services too, that are useful.  Mostly, I just chart momentum.

I have similar feelings.  I guess at the end of the day it is human nature to insulate in groups and vilify individuals or groups outside of our own.  It can start as benevolence but it doesn’t matter where it starts.  It matters where it ends and when it ends with results like this, it demonstrates how many people have lost the ability to stop and think.  Introspection is important but has disappeared for too many.

From what I'm told, it disappeared for an hour, but when it came  back, Biden was up by 2,000 votes.
