What is taking so long? Secret Service will brief Congress on the White House cocaine on Thursday as search for the culprit reaches the NINTH day
* U.S. Secret Service will give a staff-level briefing to the House Oversight panel on Thursday regarding the discovery of cocaine in the White House
* Comes as questions continue to simmer over the investigation
* Sen. Tom Cotton also asked USSS Director Kim Cheatle for a briefing

The Secret Service will brief Congress on the cocaine found in the White House on Thursday - as the search for the culprit drags into the ninth day, and members of the Biden administration dodge questions on the investigation.

The briefing will be conducted on Thursday at 10 a.m. and will allow staff members of the powerful House Oversight Committee insights into the incident that has left more questions than answers, a panel aide confirmed to DailyMail.com.

Where the cocaine was discovered has changed three times – first in the library, then in a west wing work area and finally in a cell phone lockbox. There are no signs from officials of who the culprit is that brought the illicit drug onto the premises.

Cell phone lockbox?  You mean, the box in which the Secret Service watches you place your phone before you enter a SCIF for a classified briefing?

"Oh that?  The bag of white powder?  That's the new Google Pixel.  Honestly."

Oh boy

So am I clear on this?  Luft is accused of being paid to influence US policy in favor of China?

Paid by CEFC China?

The same CEFC that paid Hunter Biden to influence policy in favor of China?

Correct.

And no one will bat an eye. Because "we've restored decency and honor to the White House", and no amount of facts or evidence will move anyone off that position.

Why?

Because it's easier to fool someone than to convince someone that they've been fooled.

There was no surveillance video footage found that provided investigative leads

Probably left there by Jeffrey Epstein's killer...

It was wiped. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . like with a cloth.

It should speak volumes that I, myself - who's always trying to see all points of view and all alternatives to an explanation - think this is a great big steaming pile of horseshit.

I'm only surprised they didn't blame the bear.

Following the discovery, safety closures were implemented around the White House. This response was designed to ensure that the found substance was not a chemical or radiological material that threatened the security of the White House.

Has it occurred to anyone yet?  The extremely serious implication that it's entirely possible, even trivial, to get a biological weapon past the Secret Service into the White House.

Yeah, but really, what are the odds that Hunter will be accidentally mainlining Anthrax in the White House?
