Hunter Biden sues IRS, alleges agents tried to 'target' and 'embarrass' him
Biden's lawsuit calls out IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler

Hunter Biden's attorneys filed a lawsuit against the IRS on Monday, alleging that agents have "targeted and sought to embarrass" the president's son.

Biden's Monday morning filing cites two major examples in IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, two whistleblowers who claimed the IRS mishandled aspects of its investigation into Biden.

Biden's lawsuit seeks for the court to declare that the IRS "willfully, knowingly, and/or by gross negligence, unlawfully disclosed Mr. Biden's confidential tax information."

Feds thwarted probe into possible 'criminal violations' involving 2020 Biden campaign, agents say

Newly-discovered inquiry opened after the 2020 election into the payment of Hunter Biden’s overdue taxes by a lawyer, but like other investigative avenues there was 'obstruction' by prosecutors, Congress told.

The FBI and IRS probed allegations that Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign may have benefited from “campaign finance criminal violations” by allowing a politically connected lawyer to help pay off Hunter Biden’s large tax debts but agents were blocked by federal prosecutors from further action, according to new information uncovered by congressional investigators.

The previously unreported campaign finance inquiry was first alluded to in transcribed interviews by House investigators with two IRS agents and a retired FBI supervisor, and the allegations since have been augmented in recent weeks by new evidence uncovered by the House Ways and Means Committee, the House Judiciary Committee and the House Oversight Committee.

That evidence includes a case summary memo written by IRS Supervisory Criminal Investigative Agent Gary Shapley to his bosses dated May 3, 2021 in which he alleged that Lesley Wolf, a top prosecutor in the Hunter Biden case inside Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss’ office, waived agents off the campaign finance case. Shapley provided the information to Congress under the protections of whistleblower laws, and lawmakers voted the information to be public:

"This investigation has been hampered and slowed by claims of potential election meddling,” Shapley wrote in the memo, according to his now-public transcribed interview with House Ways and Means where he read verbatim a passage from the memo. “Through interviews and review of evidence obtained, it appears there may be campaign finance criminal violations.

“AUSA Wolf stated on the last prosecution team meeting that she did not want any of the agents to look into the allegation,” Shapley’s memo stated, according to his interview. “She cited a need to focus on the 2014 tax year, that we could not yet prove an allegation beyond a reasonable doubt, and that she does not want to include their Public Integrity Unit because they would take authority away from her. We do not agree with her obstruction on this matter.”

Fourth IRS Agent Says D.C. and California Prosecutors Blocked Hunter Biden Charges

IRS agent Darrell Waldon echoed IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley’s testimony that prosecutors in Washington, DC, and California previously blocked now-special counsel David Weiss from charging Hunter Biden in those jurisdictions.

“Mr. Weiss went to the U.S. Attorney’s Office — I can’t recall the dates — and they did not agree to prosecute the case in D.C.,” Waldon told the House Ways and Means Committee during a transcribed interview in September, the Washington Examiner reported.

“I’m aware that it was presented to the District of Columbia and, at some point, the Central District of California, I believe,” he added.

Waldon’s transcribed interview comes after he previously confirmed Shapley’s claims in April of political interference. Waldon later left the Hunter Biden case for another responsibility within the IRS.

The recent testimony by Waldon, who was Shapley's boss, is notable because Attorney General Merrick Garland testified Wednesday that nobody had the authority to block Weiss from charging Hunter Biden, though "they could refuse to partner with him."

"You said [Weiss] had complete authority, but he'd already been turned down. He wanted to bring an action in D.C. and the US Attorney there said, 'No, you can't' -- and then you go tell the U.S. Senate, under oath, that he has complete authority?" House Oversight Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked.

"No one had the authority to turn him down; they could refuse to partner with him." Garland replied.

"You can use whatever language -- 'refuse to partner' is turning down," Jordan replied.

"It is not the same under a well-known Justice Department practice," Garland claimed.

Hunter Biden sues Rudy Giuliani over laptop, accuses ex-Trump lawyer of 'hacking'

Biden alleges Giuliani is responsible for the 'total annihilation' of his digital privacy, claims there was no 'laptop'

Hunter Biden on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani alleging the former President Trump lawyer violated his privacy rights by illegally disseminating content from Biden's infamous laptop.

The complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California states Giuliani is "primarily responsible" for the "total annihilation" of Biden's digital privacy. It also names Robert Costello, a former federal prosecutor who previously represented Giuliani, as a defendant, Fox News has confirmed.

"For the past many months and even years, Defendants have dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy toward looking for, hacking into, tampering with, manipulating, copying, disseminating, and generally obsessing over data that they were given that was taken or stolen from Plaintiff's devices or storage platforms, including what Defendants claim to have obtained from Plaintiff's alleged ‘laptop’ computer," Biden's attorneys wrote in the complaint, claiming that the data was not even from a "laptop," but from an "external drive."

Republicans unveil witness lineup in first impeachment hearing

The House Oversight Committee will hold its first impeachment hearing into President Joe Biden this week and interview three witnesses, who will provide their expertise in connection with allegations President Joe Biden, while vice president, received a bribe from a Ukrainian businessman to change U.S. policy.

Prompting the impeachment inquiry is an unclassified FD-1023 form that contains confidential human source information outlining an alleged bribery effort. The tip describes an arrangement in which Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky allegedly hired Hunter Biden to secure access to his father, upon whom he leaned to secure the firing of then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the firm.

The hearing will feature three witnesses, including George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley, former Assistant Attorney General, United States Department of Justice Tax Division Eileen O'Connor, and forensic accountant Bruce Dubinsky, the committee announced Monday.

This afternoon, Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight Committee, announced that he has received bank wire records revealing payments from China in the amount of $260,000 to Hunter Biden in 2019. What's more interesting than the proof of payment is the address where those payments were sent.
