Cinga Posted June 7 Share Posted June 7 It's not going to be popular but only 1 day in prosecution of Hunter to go and so far he should be found "not guilty" Ironically it will be for the same reason Trump should have been found not guilty and that is he was never charged with an underlying crime. Yes, he checked the box and yes he was addicted to drugs at the time, but even putting aside the Constitutionality of that questionnaire which i think the defense is also going to challenge through jury nullification, but if he was a drug addict, why isn't he being charged for that along with the gun application charge? With Trump it was whether he did it to cheat on his taxes, or steal the election that allowed the charges to be a felony. Agreed, the line of cross questioning during the prosecution made me think they were going to challenge the Constitutionality of the application process during defense.
