I can all but guarantee the reporter thinks they humiliated Vance.

Don't doubt it, but really don't understand how.

So...did President Biden have anything to say?  Was he asked any questions?  Or were they all directed at Kamala?

This administration is a mess.

Another take:

Trump used a persuasion technique called "Entering Your Illusion" when he questioned Harris' racial identity at the NABJ, and you can already see how well it worked.

I've described this technique to my audience over the years. I learned it when training to be a hypnotist. And I've used it successfully a number of times. It's a powerful tool.

The method involves ACCEPTING the illusion you are trying to defeat and showing its absurdity by taking it to its obvious conclusion.

Trump ACCEPTED the Democrat worldview that identity is the key variable, then casually discussed the incongruity of Harris in terms of her identity. And he did it in front of an audience organized by their identity.

This particular persuasion will continue to sink in, to marinate, and to get more powerful over time.

The losing play in this situation would have been to argue against using identity to choose candidates. That would be a non-starter. Instead, he "entered their illusion" and left a huge turd in the middle of their living room.

It was one of the best persuasion plays in political history. But it will take some time to see it do its magic.

They couldn't just keep him in the basement, could they? They had to put him in public.

I'm getting to the point where I hope he DOES shit his pants and has to be forced out before his first term is up just so we don't have to spend money building this idiot a library.

Don't make eye contact!?

Here is the original article from 2019. Read it while it is still up. It isn't really a hit piece as he called her a "fine orator" :classic_laugh: and he's been in politics his whole life.

</snip>

Senator Harris vocally throws around “F-bombs” and other profanity constantly in her berating of staff and others. The staff is in complete fear of her and she uses her profanity throughout the day.

As Attorney General, Senator Harris instructed her entire staff to stand every morning as she entered the office and say, “Good Morning General.”

Never once during the month-long internship did Harris introduce herself to our son (as he was only in an office with 20 paid employees) and staff was too intimidated by her to introduce him. The only acknowledgment was a form letter of “thanks” signed by Harris given to him on his last day of service.

Gregory was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.

</snip>

Probably didn't want people to make eye contact with her for fear it would cause her to break out into her trademarked "cackle."

It's a true tribute to her thorough unlikability that this doesn't make me dislike her more.

  In the spirit of fighting fire with fire do we take the 327 million and pay the prone election workers in large Democrat cities who would normally stuff the ballot box for the Democrats to instead not to do that?
