I recall when Obama first did it (I think it was actually 2007) and people were screaming about it on twitter. Not one Republican AG went after them. Now, four national campaigns later, someone finally did something. Why do Republicans allow the Democrats to cheat like this? (And was this is why the Bushies went after Paxton?) Because allowing unsourced donations and ascribing them to unsuspecting American citizens to build a war chest, is cheating.

********

Lemme explain what just happened, for those of you in Rio Linda...

⁨Texas Attorney General ⁨Ken Paxton just forced ActBlue to turn on the CVV feature that's been allowed to be TURNED OFF for Dem CC donations since 200-freaking EIGHT when Obama started this bullshit.⁩

Obama started it in 2008, did it again in 2012, got away with it, so did Clinton in 2016, then Biden in 2020.

Only now....NOW!...have state AG's taken action to ENFORCE THE FREAKING LAW and make these guys turn the CCV back on.

With this feature now turned back on, this means the massive amounts of SMURFING that Democrats have been doing with ActBlue is directly threatened.

No more having some retired lady living in an apartment donating $18,000 to Democrat campaigns because someone fraudulently used her name/address and nobody checked the donating credit card CVV to see if it was really her making the donation or not.

This is gonna make it MUCH HARDER for the foreign oligarchs who actually run our federal government to fund the rigging of the next election.

Folks, I remember SCREAMING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS back in 2012 when it was revealed that the Obama was doing this AGAIN, after he got away with it in 2008 - turning off the CCV for credit card donations.

You know what happened? After election, the campaign PAID A FINE.

That's right. Sucked in MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of what were obviously illegal donations, then shelled out a couple thou for a fine to the FEC.

This corruption WORKED SO WELL that Hillary did it herself in 2016, and then Biden in 2020 and now 2024...until today when FINALLY, at LAST, SOMEBODY enforced the law and made these goons turn the CCV back on.

Democrats break the Law & make their own rules
Installing Kamala was the only way they could take Biden's campaign money.
ActBlue Accused Of "MASSIVE Money Laundering Operation" As Trump Files FEC Complaint Over $91M Transfer To Kamala
Biden's campaign reported to the Federal Election Commission on Saturday that it had $95 million in the bank at the end of June
Immediately after Biden dropped out of the race, the campaign filed, opens new tab forms with the FEC scrubbing Biden's name from registration documents  and changing the official name of the presidential campaign account to  "Harris for President" from "Biden for President."

Trump to host town halls if Harris bails on Fox News, NBC debate offers

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will still be in front of TV cameras even if Vice President Harris ducks out of two suggested debates, a campaign official told The Post.

If Harris is a no-show, “We’ll do town-halls,” said a Trump official.

Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has only formally agreed to a Sept. 10 contest on ABC.

This is a nutty story.

Pittsfield Hair Salon Owner Shocked by Break-In During Harris Visit

</snip>

The owner was shocked to find that her locked business across from the back of the theater had been entered and the bathroom used during this time.

"I knew with [Secret Service] being here in the parking lot and in here, my building was safe because it's all of the police personnel, but it was just a violation," Alicia Powers said.

"I pay taxes, I'm on top of my stuff, it was just a violation. I was like 'Wow, that can happen without permission,' and that was kind of mind-blowing for me."

After searching for answers, Powers said she received a call from a Secret Service representative in Boston last Wednesday, who took responsibility for the incident even though he could not confirm that his agents were involved.

She initially hesitated to go public about the incident but now feels seen and heard by both the agency and the local community.

"I really felt good about that and that's all I wanted out of the situation was accountability," she said. "Because if we do something wrong in the community and we get in trouble, we're held accountable and we have to make sure that we follow through with that and that's all that I was asking for."

U.S. Secret Service spokesperson Melissa McKenzie confirmed that the agency had contacted Powers.

"The U.S. Secret Service works closely with our partners in the business community to carry out our protective and investigative missions," she wrote.

"The Secret Service has since communicated with the affected business owner. We hold these relationships in the highest regard and our personnel would not enter, or instruct our partners to enter, a business without the owner's permission."

</snip>

"When I got back here, my front door was left unlocked. I don't know how long it was unlocked for and that's essentially the the gist of what happened. They were walking around in here for a good hour and a half, my alarm was going off the entire time, that should have alarmed somebody that maybe you shouldn't be in the building."

Harris arrived around 3 p.m. with a Secret Service and State Police escort and entered the Colonial through a side door. She traveled down Pomeroy Avenue to leave the city around 45 minutes later after speaking for around 15 minutes.

Powers said wasn't able to get to the salon until around 4:30 p.m. when security was lifted but by then the parking lot had cleared out. She asked some sheriff's deputies still there if people  had been in her building.

Let's see if the Secret Service agent is charged with Breaking and Entering and Vandalism.

I'd like to see a Conservative/Libertarian leaning law firm offer to take up the case and file suit that the Secret Service violated the salon owner's Third Amendment rights

Amendment III
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Not a soldier, but still an armed Federal agent forcibly using private property without the consent of the owner.
