And Davis broke off his route after the ball left Allen's hands.  So the pass became intentional grounding after the pass was thrown due to a decision made extraneous to the ball being thrown.

That is the dumbest &#%$ing thing I've seen on a football field.

Second-dumbest.

We will always have this.  It still gives me joy.

Ok, so we sack the QB and take the weight of the QB on ourselves and it is roughing the passer. Our TE is tripped and no flag. Then our WR stops on the route and the QB throws it to the spot he was supposed to be and it is Intentional grounding? OK

And that f'ing ridiculous call took us out of fg range.

Burrow can recognize what we are doing and take what we give him.

Josh obviously is not on that level, he just tries to force what he wants to do regardless of what the Defense is giving up to him.

I'm sure if Josh just took what he was given it would be unsportsmanlike conduct or some other &#%$ing bullshit.

There's a lot of beautiful football that gets played. It's easier to see it when you don't have a rooting interest in a game though.

I watched football all day today. Wasn’t remotely enjoyable.

Josh needs situational awareness on that last throw.  Even if Davis turns it upfield it's a lower percentage play.  It was 3rd and 6.  Find 6 yards the easy way.

I agree with this.

also, our offense always feels so rigid. That might be on Josh too, but it just feels like we’re constantly trying to force shit instead of playing loose.

The NFL has completely lost me. I feel like a drug addict. I don’t remotely enjoy watching any games, but do it out of compulsion.

Someday, years from now, someone's going to ask me "When did you stop watching football?"

And the answer will be: that &#%$ing intentional grounding call.

Watching the four box as the Houston, Atlanta and NE* games all went down to the end together was pretty cool, but if the Bills punt on the opening drive of the second half, I’m shutting this off.

Just think we have the rest of the year in standalone windows to show just how far they've fallen this year.

It's like you're perennially stuck in the drought years.

Already turned it off.  If I want to watch some awful scripted drama on TV, I'll watch on She-Hulk.
