It's probably good to have a dedicated thread to corral that discussion in one place. Joe Brady was the architect of the LSU Tigers offense in 2019. That of Joe Burrow, JaMar Chase and Justin Jefferson. To help get a better understanding of who he is, this is a pretty good ESPN article from Nov. 2019 on Brady. Granted he had incredible weapons at LSU but he put together possibly the best college offense ever. Still not sure how he ended up the QB Coach here with Dorsey the OC. Spartacus Posted November 17, 2023 Share Posted November 17, 2023 (edited) Warner makes some observations that Josh is too impatient in the pocket because he gets to the throwing position before the routes have matured. so he starts to bail or goes elsewhere with the ball. sneaking suspicion that the plays on which this happening were designed to be run from under center, which would take more time for the QB to complete his dropback. By bastardizing the plays into the shotgun, the carefully synchronized timing has been destroyed and they have not given Josh a tool to use to calm down and compensate for the quicker drop.
