middle of the field!?

look how many passes went to the flats behind the LOS

that's absurd

talk about capitulating and living in fear

Did you actually look at the graphic?

Or did you just reflexively dismiss it as some conspiracy by the NFL to bring back disco or some shit?

As I mentioned in the GDT... there was also, to me at least, a feeling of the Bills having a flow and a purpose to the call of the game. I felt that maybe once, or twice during Dorseys tenure. We had an identity out there today.

Flow and Purpose

This just sounds like such a veiled indictment of Dorsey.

To be fair, this isn’t Joe’s first time behind the wheel. You have to respect that he’s spent his time out of the chair learning, and building, and formulating what he would do and how to approach the job once he’s was given the chance to again drive a Formula One race car.

I addressed the content by asking "Did you look at the graphic?"  Since you clearly didn't, as it contradicts whatever you said.

Happy to see it. Many folks here were pointing out that using motion helps JA confirm if a team is in zone (a player does not react and move with the motion player) or is in man (a player moves with the man in motion to mirror the offense). That takes helps make a lot of the reads easier and helps point out who may be spying JA.

Some defenses are using exotic spy looks on JA. For example Cincy used two spies OLBs/ or OLB and S. That made JA uncomfortable rolling outside where he does damage, and it took away Cook's ability to go wide on sweeps and cut backs where he does damage. It seemed it made presnap reads more difficult. Very little motion used to counter it and help call out the coverage.

Good to see it.

The spacing among the receivers seemed better too.

gotta believe part of the spacing problem is a direct result of too many WRs independently running their option route to the same green space

Honestly, don't understand why all teams don't run motion before about 85% of their snaps.  Don't really see the downside to it, other than you need to make sure you always have both T's covered without having 2 guys on the line on that side and if guys are moving they might not do that.  (But, if your WRs are that dumb that they can't be told "YOU stay on the line, YOU don't go to the line" you've probably got other issues.

especially since the "experts" were gushing over the success Miami had by putting Hill in motion at the snap
