The nfl doesn’t really give off loyalty vibes when you take into account how players could get contracts and just be cut with no real consequences at the first sight of an issue.

I completely agree. I'm just saying, kids who grow up doing their own play-by-play while throwing the game-winning SB touchdown in their back yard see the players, not the NFL. They're Kelly or Marino or Stabler, not Goodell.

 

In fairness, once they let Vick back in with a massive contract, with other guys kicking their pregnant girlfriends before getting a massive contract, it's hard to show your kids what a professional looks like in the NFL any more.

 

But Hopkins sideline pout was embarrassing. At least Vontae Davis had the guts to quit and leave.

 

Hopkins just quit.
