Not able to practice at the moment, can be removed from the PUP list at any time.

Williams is trying to recover from an ACL injury last season.

Both Saleh and Douglas' jobs are on the line, which is why they took such a risk on Williams in the first place.  I expect them to overpay for ANY player that can help the Jets THIS season, long term consequences be damned.

They do have a ton of cap space this year and next. They could absorb Adams contract. The thought of pairing Adams and Wilson has to be tempting. If it was us, we know darned well the fans would want it.

 

Honestly other than QB and OL the Jets are pretty stacked.

Don't underestimate how bad their HC and OC are -- and the fact that they've left the offense to a QB who seems to place competitive football about 4th or 5th on his list of things he's interested in.

Which is a little unfair to them, given that their entire 2023 season went pear-shaped in four snaps.

you are correct, this year they do not. Next year they have loads.
