No QBs played 20 years back then.  Marino and Elway were the exceptions because they played 16 and 15 seasons respectively but the game was MUCH different then.  Kelly, Marino, and Elway took more hard hits on any given Sunday than Brady did in any two seasons he played.

I don't know if he'd fit under the cap this year...but given the dead-money hit they took this year to open up cap space, I'd be surprised if they couldn't negotiate something long-term with him.
