I don't know if the guy is any good but that's one of the best LB names in NFL history.

He could have a broken spine and still be a better choice than Drake Maye.

His name is what?

Backwards it's "Wosy Dis."  And I'm honestly not sure which is sillier.

Patriots defense isn't bad, it was better with Judon, but still it's a legit defense. The offense is fu*king horrible and will look entirely inept for most of the season. Probably another 4 win season.

I don't know what it is about Week 1 but the Bengals are unbelievably terrible at opening the season.

Hard to believe with that group of skill players Joe Burrow couldn't put up better numbers against a defense that's missing its two best players from last season.

Nice win.  I guess.  Offense is totally putrid as expected.  Defense also as good as expected.  Cincinnati (and Burrow) can't seem to figure out September.  I'll bump the Patriots up to 5 wins now.

Brutal details emerge about Jabrill Peppers’ alleged assault on girlfriend

Chilling details have emerged regarding Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers’ shocking arrest Saturday on assault, strangulation and drug charges.

Peppers and his girlfriend had an altercation in which he is alleged to have “hit her, choked her, took off her clothing and put her outside,” according to the police report, as chronicled by wcvb.com.

The woman in question told officers that Peppers put his hands on her neck, slammed her head into the wall and then threw her down stairs, per the report.

Peppers’ attorney Mark Brofsky disputed those claims after his client was released on bond Monday from Quincy District Court following his not guilty plea.

He said they have video “and other” evidence which “sheds real doubt on the allegation,” per the report.
