Blackrock ✔️

*But we don't talk about Black Rock's IC involvement. Nope. Not unless you want a knock at your door at 6AM (spoken from experience).

You're probably right of course - but: Sometimes though, the only way out is through the burning building, not around it.

Joe (let's be real, his team since Joe is gone) aren't sincere in their apologies or attitudes towards Trump or the people. Any event such as this would be purely for optics - and they wouldn't last. Even if there is a meeting of the minds, it won't mean anything. If anything, it will only delay the reckoning that's needed. For an example, see when Trump tried this with Hillary and Obama after being elected.

How did they respond to that olive branch? By putting us right here.

Sometimes, you just need to do what Marcellus Wallace would do in the basement with his attackers and go Medieval on their asses.

Wait, can you please elaborate on the asterisk!!

Sure it is if you have the balls and brains to prove your point.

Was the full-out launch of the Democrat "Trump is the devil" campaign they started last week a good one?

Following the Washington way of doing things has directly led us to this place, keep doing what you've always done and you'll get the same results you've always gotten. Last cycle's stuffed ballot boxes and 3am miracle tally reversals were enough, never again should the Dems feel comfortable enough to get away with that in the US of A.

Washington has lagged behind Hollywood.  It has been over 50 years since MASH debuted on television.  Frank Burns then was the devil on television.  Every negative aspect that you could ascribe to a human being was given to him.  And people for the most part ate it with a shovel.  There was no way that the Democrat machine was not going to use that when the younger viewers graduated college during the 1980's and started working with rising Democrat stars such as the Clinton's.  As to stuffing the ballots the ultimate cheat is being laid out and BLM along with Antifa will be the soldiers in the street should anybody question the results.

&#%$ you Bennie Traitor Thompson!

Staffer for Bennie Thompson. There is a reason she felt she could tweet that.

Democratic congressman's staffer is FIRED after saying she wishes shooter Thomas Crooks had 'better aim' in vile post after Trump's near-assassination

A staff member of a Mississippi Democratic congressman took to social media and said she wished the shooter who tried to take Donald Trump's life had better aim.

</snip>

Marsaw, 61, the president and vice president of a local NAACP in Natchez, Mississippi, has since deleted the post and her account, but screenshots have been reposted across social media.

She shared: 'I don't condone violence but please get some shooting lessons so you don't miss next time ooops that wasn't me talking.'

In a follow up post, she said: 'That's what your hate speech got you!!'

Marsaw has since been fired from her position. 'I was made aware of a post made by a staff member and she is no longer in my employment,' Thompson said.

Sorry, but that animosity will continue into perpetuity unless the Republicans grow some balls and push back. Since we had years from Clinton where the parties worked together mainly because Gingrich took the Alpha role away from him it's been downhill. I'm sure you remember Bush was Satan incarnate then of course Obama through Trump to now not to mention the crap puled on Romney and McCain. And in every one of those administrations Republicans tried the olive branch approach only to have it ripped out of their hands and then beaten with it instead.

And you're seeing it again this election cycle as the other side is trying to go full speed ahead running a fear campaign "to save our democracy". So far at least I see Republican ignoring the flat out lies levelled at them that have been a part of the Dem playbook for years, smear the opponent so much they have no choice but to go on the defensive. Focus instead on their plans, and of course pointing out the failed plans of the Dems

Yes, there is a way to unite, but only once Republicans appear to be strong enough to push back and level that playing field again and so far at least, they are doing just that under Trump leadership.

It comes down to a bully will not stop being a bully until people start punching back.  Sad to say that in 2024 that needs to happen but most people are closer to the cave in spirit than the mansion.

People need to stop pretending that the "garden variety" Congress Critter is different based on party affiliation.  They aren't.  The Swamp is the Swamp.  Trump is a threat to the Swamp because he doesn't need money and that's why they hate him so much.  There's a reason certain "Republicans" like Romney and Cheney are so vocal against him - because they're the richest and don't need the jobs to keep getting paid.

Agreed, but you can't clean up the swamp by joining them in the muck. Let's be frank, this election isn't going to fix much though hopefully quite a few swamp creatures lose their seats. It's going to be the investigations AND prosecutions people are clamoring for and if that happens, the 2028 and 2032 elections will be HUGE and of course largely dependent on who we should learn tonight or tomorrow Trump has chosen as a running mate.

I'm actually hoping to hear how he plans to hit the ground running by announcing if not all, at least part of his cabinet in the next few days too.

Good post. He didn't even take his half a mil salary for the 4 years, if I remember right he accepted $1.00. Yes the swamp is scared to death of him, their cushioned way of life is at stake.

The problem with these signs is that a whole shitpot full of progressives act like this, but only a small proportion are real threats.

So it ends up being a non-indicator.
