Plus, repeated concussions can make future concussions more likely.

 

Less so for cardiac arrest, particularly if the heart muscle recovers fully from it.

Tua’s injuries are caused by playing football.

Hamlin’s one-time injury happened on the football field.

Big difference.

And, as you said, many were shocked when Hamlin returned to football.

I presume Hamlin's biggest obstacle was mental. His physical injury was one in a million.

He was showered, dressed, and on the way to the hospital before the game was called.  I respected his decisiveness.

IMO tua should retire. In 2022 he had 3 concussions just alone in that year. I cant believe he is not considering retiring. He is 26 yrs old. Just walk away. You have enough money and if you have invested wisely you can live comfortably.

I wonder if Lamar wishes he didn't lose that much weight so his arms and hands were better able to hold the weight of him  burying his face in embarrassment.
