At least there's an off-week after the last preseason game.

19 days until the season opener, we'll be alright.

Unless another vaccinated trainer, player, or coach comes down with covid and the close contacts need to sit out again.

Yes, that's true for any team, any time. I was talking about this incident, even if one or two of them come up positive in the next couple of days, there's enough time, so they would be eligible to play in the opener if physically able.

The time missed doesn't concern me at all.

This is just the start of the nightmare.

note that none of the un-vaxxed were sick or even tested positive.

Their natural immunity is stronger than provided by the vax, that harbors the virus in the vaxxed and serves as a mutation breeding ground

However, every week the un-vaxxed will held out 5 days because of discriminatory NFL protocols bougth and paid for by the CDC - which provide no health benefits

Some pretty embarrassing Qs to Beane from the crackerjack reporters this afternoon.

Props to MLJ for finally asking good Qs - first one to inquire about the health of the conditioning coach, and then following up on the inconsistent treatment of vaxxed & unvaxxed players.

Add Vernon Butler to the list.  Apparently he got flagged later in the day after 1 hour of practice.  Apparently his viral load wasn't high.

So if this happens during the season they are going to force players who do not have COVID to miss games??

I'm hoping every GM in the league is dialing the league right now to change the stupid rules.  You either have it, or you don't.  End of story.

My tax guy in Buffalo coaches his kid's soccer team, and guess who's on that team? Cole's son.

He wonders if he will be at practice later.......

And on top of that, imagine if those players all tested negative and remained negative.

Potential silver lining.....can we kind of conclude that Allen has been vaccinated then ???

Interesting replies to that.  "The players cost the team, by not getting vaccinated."

Except the players aren't sick.  Their vaccination status, at that point, has nothing to do with health, but with checking off an arbitrary box on an arbitrary policy.  You get vaccinated not to prevent illness, but to prevent repercussions under league rules.

It's a de facto admission that vaccination is, effectively, theater.

Good thing, because that 51st person was dead-nuts certain to expose someone to COVID...

Or poetic justice for the beat writers who insist on asking moronic questions about the Covid situation.
